Details
INgezim Coronavirus Porcino 2.0 is a kit for blocking immunoenzymatic assay for antibody detection to Porcine Coronaviruses. This assay does not allow the differentiation of antibodies to PRCV from the TGEV ones.
This kit is based on a blocking enzymatic immunoassay (Blocking Elisa). The antigen, a recombinant viral protein is fixed in a solid support (polystyrene plate) by a specific monoclonal antibody. After incubation with serum sample we add a monoclonal antibody (peroxidase conjugated) against one common epitope of both TGE and PRCV viruses. If the serum sample contains antibodies against any one of the viruses, they will not permit the binding of the labelled Mab to the antigen whereas if it does not contain specific antibodies the Mab will bind to the antigen on the plate.
