INgene® q Equine Herpesvirus 2 is a real-time PCR kit for the detection of EHV-2 DNA in samples from Equine. The assay is optimized for samples like conjuntival swabs and strains/vaccines. This kit detects the pathogen DNA in FAM channel and includes an Endogenous Control (HEX/VIC), making it a duplex real-time PCR in one-well format, allowing identification of false negatives due to poor extraction and/or PCR inhibition.
